Warner Bros. Japan has unveiled a new trailer for Suicide Squad Isekai.
The trailer highlights several DC characters featured in the anime series, including Ratcatcher, The Thinker, Enchantress, and Killer Croc. According to the series synopsis: “The head of A.R.G.U.S. has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These DC Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm connected to this world through a gate. It’s a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an ‘ISEKAI!’ Harley Quinn and the others go on a rampage upon arrival but are captured by the Kingdom’s soldiers and imprisoned. With only 72 hours before the bomb on their necks explodes, the deadline is fast approaching. After negotiations with Queen Aldora, they must conquer the hostile Imperial army to earn their freedom. The series features a voice cast including Anna Nagase as Harley Quinn, Yuuichirou Umehara as Joker, Reigo Yamaguchi as Deadshot, Takehito Koyasu as Peacemaker, Jun Fukuyama as Clayface, Subaru Kimura as King Shark, Taku Yashiro as Rick Flag, Chika Anzai as Katana, Kujira as Amanda Waller, Yoji Ueda as Ratcatcher, Hochu Otsuka as The Thinker, Shizuka Ito as Enchantress, Taro Kiuchi as Killer Croc, Jun Fukushima as Cecil, Mamiko Noto as Aldora, and Reina Ueda as Fione.
The first four episodes of Suicide Squad Isekai are now streaming on Max and Hulu, with new episodes releasing on Thursdays. The season finale will air on August 15, 2024.
